Free parking in Solva car park until spring.

UPDATE I have received confirmation from PCNPA that National Trust members can park free in Solva car park all year round. The NT membership card must be current and displayed on the dashboard or windscreen.
Solva car park is now FREE until next spring.

Welcome to Solva!

It’s about time we introduce ourselves and get on the socials! We are Robin and Hannah, the new landlords of The Cambrian Inn. It has been a bonkers time since we took over in June and have spent the past few months getting to know the business, the lovely team and the locals.

Pembrokeshire has been our special place for our whole lives. Robin’s parents live in the area and it’s been the backdrop of so many precious memories and glorious times with our children Willow & Ruby and loved ones. It was only a matter of time before we made this our forever home.

With Robin’s rich experience building and running restaurants and bars, and Hannah’s work in community-based business, taking on a local, independent business together in our favourite place was the next natural step for our family.

We want the Cambo to continue to be the go-to for a delicious meal and cosy atmosphere. We’re working with the team to freshen the menu, introduce weekly specials and to create a warm welcome for our guests. The Cambo’s rich history is important to us and we take the responsibility as the next stewards of this local institution very seriously

We can’t wait to meet you and welcome you for a drink and a bite soon.

📣 Don’t miss Raul Speek's new exhibition of his religious paintings in the fitting setting of St Davids Cathedral in Pembrokeshire.

🖼 'My Life Is A Prayer' runs from Monday 9 October to Friday 3 November 2023.

⛪️ It's an opportunity to view Raul’s work in the beautiful 12th century cathedral.

🎨 Raul’s religious iconography forms one of the major themes of his work.

😍 He says: “This exhibition is a chance to share my religious work, and to continue my meditation on my walk along the faith trail. I hope my paintings may inspire others to reflect, too.”

The power of who wins is in YOUR HANDS! - all bakers must have their cakes to us by 10am Saturday 14th October to enter, judging begins from 10.30am and is £1 per person to taste and judge and decide our winner! 🌿 Dragonfly 🌿 I’m thrilled to show you my new dragonfly design. The wings are a delightful mixture of blue and turquoise tweeds, whilst his body and head are lovely rich velvets. I particularly like the bulrush and leaves in earthy brown with olive and teal leaves. Available with this heather coloured side panel, but also in pale blue duck egg too. I hope you love my new addition as much as we do!

Exciting News!!

I’ve got an actual real life shop..

Just getting cracking with some decorating and hope to be open some point in October.. I’ll be selling original paintings, prints and some other merch!

Hoorah! We’ve been open six months in our new SEAFORTH home store in Solva! We’ve been blow away by the response to our little shop and by how many cushions have gone to new homes! We have been open 7 days a week in order to cater for everyone, locals that work and people here on holiday. We hope you have enjoyed calling in to see us or seeing the pictures of how the business has evolved. Huge thank you to my glamorous assistant and shop manager, Chris, who now has a new admiration for cushions!

Soaps glorious soaps! We love having the famous Savon de Marsellies soaps in the shop. Made with salt water and olive oil plus the floral ingredients to make up the patchouli, rose, seaweed and honeysuckle - absolutely heavenly!
