Therefore, in the low season like Nov - March, you will not see many activities as you may see in Summer. However, the island’s charm doesn’t change. In the winter when the weather around 12 - 16C, you will get breezy air, claim spirit and full time to spend looking at the gorgeous view of white building contrast with the colorful doors&window up to the clear water of the Aegean sea. No crowds, no noise, just you and the sound of the city where kitties population are taking over. 🇬🇷 #เที่ยวโหลดโหมดชิลว์

Santorini or officially called Thira (or Thera in classic Greek) is considered as an active volcanic island in Southern Aegean sea.

The present-day crescent shape of the island is a consequence of the activity of the volcano in prehistoric times. The island itself owes its very existence to the volcano.

It is famous for dramatic views, stunning sunsets from Oia town. It’s drawn people around the world to observe that scene one in a life time.

Off-season may not popular and most of shops and restaurants will be closed or under maintenance to get ready for the crazy tourist season in Summer start from April to Mid-November. However, it offers the same stunning views without huge crowds.

in February, the weather around 12-16C. If you are into hiking, 11km hiking trail (one way) from Fira to Oia or Oia to Fira in the breezy day will amaze you with unforgettable views..

You may get to the island by ferry or airplane (which domestic flight may offer the cheaper fare and quicker, but of course ferry is the experience of islander travel). Local transportation is bus. The bus schedule in winter may be less than summer.
