Fair Earth Paper Gifts This cottage industry generates income for local families & economies. As a graphic designer I've always loved paper.

Natural handmade leaf paper stationery & gift designs are handcrafted by Indian artisans - mostly village women - under fair trade & environmentally conscious conditions. In 2004-2006 while volunteering in India I found paper being made by hand, creating artfully designed, one of a kind, fusions of art and nature. This lovely paper is then used to form amazingly unique and decorative gift items li

ke none I'd seen anywhere else. I often visited the area where these items are manufactured. It has received developmental support from a considerable number of governmental and non-governmental agencies for over 30 years, including ongoing endorsements from UNESCO. I saw first hand how the local villagers benefited economically, as well as personally, from their employment. I saw as well how the environment too was considered in the manufacturing processes.
