With the Covid vaccines rolling out, many places are loosening their entrance restrictions. Of course masks are still required almost everywhere as a safety precaution, but many no longer require quarantine upon arrival. Some do require a negative Covid test within 72 hrs of arrival and also one before you return, which may be at your expense, so always ask or check for latest updates.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention set the stage for the return of U.S. cruising with the release Friday of a detailed series of requirements that could put ships back in operation in the coming months.

The cruise line industry needs your help! The CDC will not lift the travel ban on cruises until it hears feedback from the public. Please, make your voice heard! The cruise industry has been a very safe form of travel for many, many years and will be to come, if enough people express their desire to return to cruising. The safety measures the industry is taking to ensure safe travel has increased to round the clock cleaning crews sanitizing every touchable surface. Reducing the numbers of passengers onboard to maintain safe social distancing. No touch buffet, where employees with gloves put your food on the plate. And so much more. If you are a cruise fan, please help!

Center for Disease Control is now seeking public input before making any further decisions on whether cruise lines can start sailing again.
