A stop along the caravan route from the Sahara to Marrakech, Aït Ben Haddou, in it's modern day is more of a tourist attraction for its beauty and for it being home to a filming location for many big movies including, Gladiator, The Mummy, Alexander, and Prince of Persia.

Camels are fun to ride for all of about two minutes. After that, you would want to walk.

I've spent the past two weeks bouncing around Africa and Europe. We started out with a rainy two days in Barcelona, then flew down to Marrakech Morocco. Spent the night there and then we started our journey over the Atlas mountains to reach our camels we would ride out into the sahara for two days. Once back in Marrakech we flew up to Lisbon. Spent a quick 24 hours there then continued on to Rome. I have enough photos took keep me busy for quite sometime and I can't wait to share them with you all!

I got a new toy for my camera. A filter for my lens that lets me take longer exposures which creates that silky looking affect with anything that is moving. Like the water over the fall in this instance. Right now I'm still messing around to try and master it.

Trying my best to keep true to updating this at least once a week! Here's another from Zermatt. The Matterhorn is towering above the town right behind me in this photo. You cannot turn a corner in this town and not see it. Also if you look closely at the top of the mountain on the top right of the photo you can see the top station of Blauherd tram. Put this on my bucket list of mountains to ski.
