Hi Timp Travel Friends!

What a year 2020 was and 2021 is starting out to be, the travel world is no exception to the craziness. Many of you, like us, are probably itching to get away somewhere warm and sunny! Travel right now can be difficult as most destinations have mandates and restrictions that can seem daunting BUT travel is possible if you are educated and on board with following the mandates and restrictions.

We are currently booking all travel as custom packages, that is why you don’t see any deals being posited on our website or here on social media. We are working with each client individually to assure all of our clients traveling are aware of the restrictions that come with travel these days.

We are booking the following sunny destinations:

Hawaii (with the exception of Kauai):
Pre covid testing is required from a Hawaii approved lab/location.

Mexico
Covid testing is required by the USA/CDC to return home. Mexico is NOT currently requiring pre travel testing. We are only booking resorts that offer free testing on location.

Florida
The state of Florida is open without many restrictions BUT is busy and most places are more expensive and availability is limited.

We are recommending our clients purchase travel insurance that allows a cancel for any reason, this typically adds $160 per person. If insurance is not purchased you will be at the mercy of the airline and hotel’s current cancellation policy.

Passports are currently taking 12+ weeks to process, if you are interested in traveling to Mexico you must have a current passport or be in at least the processing phase to book, if traveling in the next 90 days.

Hello Timp Travel Family,

Life sure has changed over the past couple of weeks! We have had many clients reach out to us regarding their travel plans and we appreciate this.

We have been working to take care of our clients who are currently traveling or will travel through April 30th. If your trip is scheduled to depart after April 30th, please be patient with us! The best way to reach us is via email so that we can pull up your trip details and provide the current cancellation/reschedule policy for that particular airline and destination. These policies are changing daily - sometimes more than once per day! As of this time the majority of our vendor partners have waivers/policies in effect for travel to certain destinations through April 30, some into May for Europe.

We are asking if you are traveling in May through December to please wait a couple weeks to reach out, as things are changing so fast the information we give today may not be accurate in a couple weeks.

We know each of our clients have their own unique circumstances when it comes to comfort level, desire and ability to travel over the next few months. Cancelling is always an option, but as of now you may not be eligible for any sort of travel credit for travel beginning May 1st or after. That is why we are asking you to wait a couple of weeks before making your final decision.

If you purchased a Travel Protection Plus plan (you can see this on your confirmation itinerary), you can cancel for any reason, for a full refund up until the day before your flights leaves, minus the amount you paid for the policy.

If you are booking new travel, we highly recommend adding travel protection plus to your vacation, this typically runs $110-$140 per adult depending on the total price of your package. This however needs to be added at the time of initial booking. Most travel protection will not cover cancellation for pandemic related concerns. This is why we recommend purchasing the Plus plan through our vendors as it allows cancel for any reason.

We often get asked if an all inclusive resort is worth the money if you don't drink alcohol?
