Scuba Babes

Scuba Babes We believe everyone who dives, or wants to dive is a SCUBA BABE! Trips, products, pics, and support And with that, Scuba Babes was born. Dive Deep. Have Fun!

Scuba Babes began when a group of friends (total babes) bonded over their mutual love of diving in Belize, Central America. It was through shared experience they became entrenched in exploring what life had to offer them - both in and out of the water. They recognized the valued importance scuba diving played in their lives - from meaningful personal development (overcoming fear and doubt), to a s

ocial and environmental awakening (our oceans, marine life and dive communities are spectacular!) and finally adventurous life fulfillment (what we are living for). These friends believed that next to health, the importance of life was to have loads of fun. They also felt, to live fully could only be accomplished through shared, meaningful, experience. What they soon discovered was that the restorative power of diving enabled them to achieve all three. Whether in the water or out, the Scuba Babe mantra holds true:

Live Life. Make life extraordinarily yours. Please join us on this journey and discover what diving and the Scuba Babe community can offer you. Sincerely,

Scuba Bri, Director of Fun
Scuba Kat, Chief of Good Times
Scuba Steph, Boss of Awesome

Hooray! How amazing is this?! Although it doesn't attack the root of the problem, it's a HUGE step in the right direction to address the current(!) situation.

"The floating boom system, with the help of dozens of more booms, is estimated to clean up half of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch within the first five years. Each boom will trap up to 150,000 pounds of plastic per year as they float along the currents between California and Hawaii..."

Ambitious dreams have now become a reality as the Ocean Cleanup deploys its $20 million system designed to clean up the 1.8 trillion pieces of trash floating in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
