This is now the history page for HermitFest which since moving to Bear Valley last year is now called HermitFest West. We moved it to B.V. for easier access, power, and running water.

There is great dispersed camping there just like in Hermit Valley. It is still free to the public but we do need donations to keep it going. At the end of this announcement is info as to where you can donate. With your help, we can keep it this way.

This year and beyond we will be promoting the festival from the Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway Association page as well, which, with the help of local businesses and individuals, makes this wonderful event happen.

Went to Hermit Valley Today. Blue skys. No smoke from whats left of the Donnell fire. Just wind in the pines singing the prelude to Hermitfest. Plan to camp. Music starts at noon. Great line up. Bring food and beverages to share. Telescopes on site for star gazing after dark .. 9/8/18
