Nepal is the land of diverse cuisines. The vast number of ethnic groups have their own delicacies depending on the topography and climate of the region. One of the authentic food of Nepal is Newari Cuisine. Newari cuisine is under the larger umbrella of Nepali Food Culture and it is famed in country for its various range of different kind of dishes with different taste. Newa Bhoye 2077 is a traditional newari feast, the best way to endeavor all the Newari food. The feast begins with Baji(beaten rice) served with varieties of curries, mouth-watering dishes of meat and vegetables, followed by JUJU Dhau as the sweet dessert served at the end of the feast. Meals are served along newari liquor- Aila and thwon poured on tiny clay cups called “sallie”. OVERVIEW OF THE EVENT Main focus of this event is to endorse Newari food and culture to all the communities around the city, since these type of cultural program has be conducted only within newar communities. So we want to take this opportunities to give promote Newari culture by giving the typical cultural ambience for the visitors. The feast will be served by the natives along with cultural music and live performances. Similar to this event, an another event was successfully conducted at Lagan, Kathmandu. Nearly 800 people attend the event. We are expecting nearly min 300-500 visitor for this year' event. The main cause of organizing this event at this particular time of the year is because some of the main dishes are particularly eaten at this time such as Takhā (jellied buffalo meat curry) and Sanyā-Khunā (spicy jellied fish soup) etc.
