This year, you'll get that feeling more than ever, as you experience "A Dickens of a Christmas" in Middleburg. Coming this December, this Dickens-themed Christmas experience ...

A lot of you have been asking me to do another tutorial for you guys so I took some time out today to put another one together for you. I am not sure if this one is a little more involved but you guys smashed the first tutorial so you are more than capable! (I will also put a link to the first one I did in the comments if you missed it.)

Do tag me in any of your attempts or put them in the comments - I would love to see!

1. Draw a Circle

2. Put a dot in it! Yay an eye!

3. Leaving a little gap from the first eye, draw a semi circle to make the second eye.

4. Put a dot in it! Yay a pair of eyes! 👀

5. Starting just slightly in from the second eye, draw a diagonal line down. (You can make this slightly curved if you want!)

6. Draw a second diagonal line leading from the first eye you drew. (If you made the first diagonal line slightly curved try curving this one slightly in the opposite direction.)

7. Diagonally beneath the first eye, draw a semi circle (you might want to make it a bit more curved on one end so it is almost like an 'L' shape)

8. Draw a small 'c' at the bottom of the first diagonal line to make the first nostril

9. Draw a small backwards 'c' at the bottom of the second diagonal line to make the second nostril

10. To make the nose / jaw, at the bottom of the two diagonal lines, draw a 'wonky U' shape starting diagonally beneath the first nostril and finishing at the second nostril.

11. Draw a curve or very shallow 'S' to join the cheek to the nose.

12. Draw a curve (backwards 'L' from the Second (right) eye to join the face a fraction behind the right nostril.

13. Draw a curved line leading away from the bottom of the cheek to make the bottom of the neck.

14. Running slightly parallel to this, draw two shallow curves to make the top of the mane.

15. Above the eyes and slightly to the left, sraw a Diagonal 'L' to form the outside of the left ear.

16. Draw an 'L' shape going the opposite way to make the other side of the ear.

17. Draw a line going down the middle of the two lines you have just drawn to make the inside of the ear.

18. Draw the mane by drawing a curvy Zig Zag line

19. Draw the Forelock with some curvy triangles above the eyes.

20. Above the Forelock, draw the outside of the second ear with a very shallow curve.

21. Draw a second shallow curve going the other way.

22. Just behind the line drawn in step 20 draw another little curve to make the back of the second ear.

23. If you have a bit of space between the eye on the right hand side of the face and the Forelock, draw a small line to connect the two.

24. Add a smile and tidy up any lines that are too long.

25. Colour in!

Each time I go to a three-day event (which I do - for work - a lot), I make the same resolutions: I will walk the entire cross-country course, briskly, each day, including Sunday. I will resist the press office sandwiches and cakes and snack on salad, or some such worthy form of nutrition. I will dr...
