Do you love Big Thunder Mountain as much as I do? I’m glad I got to ride it last week because it will be closed beginning January 6 for some Refurbishment and to make way for construction to begin on the new Disney Villains Land. It is expected to reopen early 2026.

Fantasmic

Make sure when you are in the parks that you do not miss the nighttime shows. Last week I watched Fantasmic for the first time in years. I loved it. This show can be seen at Hollywood Studios. Check the app for times when you’re there. A Legendary Tale Featuring stunning effects, thrilling stunts, dazzling pyrotechnics and rousing music, this larger-than-life show is painted on a grand canvas of dancing water and light. Overflowing with silly and suspenseful surprises, it will leave your entire family smiling from ear-to-ear! This hotel has 2 restaurants, a gym, outdoor pool and is on both the trolley route and the Riverwalk.
