Jewelry invoked by architectural elements AnnMann: My middle and my maiden name together.

AnnMann Designs is a jewelry studio which takes inspiration from the architectural world of man and nature to invoke structural wearable pieces. Based in Kansas City, and founded by Christine Nelson. Christine, or Christie, (she’ll go by either) found her way to the Metalsmithing department at the University of Kansas after abandoning another major. After a few years of school and learning the bas

ics, Christie started becoming more aware of her surroundings and how certain elements could make incredible wearable pieces. Travel and research only expanded the inspiration ideas, and ways of wearing the elements.

So excited to open the studio doors this weekend for Open Studios. You can come and see me in studio 314. I will have a very special guest with me on Friday night .medicine she will have all the magical soaps and potions with her! Save-the-date! April 26 & 27, 2024 we will be hosting our Spring Open Studios! Explore 9 floors of the historic Livestock Exchange Building and meet artists where they work. Stumbled upon this adorable gallery with the work of her work is absolutely lovely. She uses silver and copper leaf on the canvas before painting, sometimes using oxidation techniques for texture & depth. She’s Greek but born & lives in Kenya, hence her painted subject. She has another show in February and looking forward to following her journey. 💗

To say it was an honor and a privilege to create this crown for BEL-AIR Peacock is an understatement. Worn by in the first episode - the design elements are inspired by the two cities Philadelphia and Bel-Air. The first three episodes have dropped on Peacock TV and a new episode tomorrow!
