Legit Trips is second to none. I went on my first Legit Trip January of 2025 to Antarctica, and it is safe to say it will not be my last Legit Trip! Everything was incredibly well organized, communication with the trip leader as well as the LT ownership was fast and easy, and the trip itself did not disappoint! Lauren Dahlke, our trip leader, kept everyone in the loop every step of the way, couldn’t recommend going on a trip with her enough! When Kristen and Lundy met nearly a decade ago, we instantly clicked. Over our very first conversation, we realized we had both lived in Australia and bonded over endless travel stories and dreams. Fast forward a bit, and our friendship grew into a globe-trotting adventure duo. Together, we explored new places, swapped ideas, and realized how travel was shaping us—helping us grow, understand the world better, and ultimately become better humans.

While solo travel was a huge part of our early journeys, we quickly realized that sharing those experiences made them so much sweeter. There’s a unique magic that happens when you travel with others—people are more present, more authentic, and connections form instantly.

Hi! I’m Lundy, one of the two owners at Legit Trips!

I’ve hosted 44 trips over the past 8 years and at least one in EVERY continent! 🙌🏽

I first fell in love with travel when I studied abroad in Granada, Spain and have been traveling every chance I get since then.

I believe that travel opens your heart and mind to things you could never imagine. It connects people in a way that nothing else can.

My favorite Legit Trip is IMPOSSIBLE to pick but French Polynesia, Europe Wine trip, Egypt, Cuba, and Croatia Sailing are in my top!!

1) How long have you been a trip leader?
I joined LT September 2018, so it has been a little longer than 6 years. 🤸🏼‍♀️

2) Why did you become a trip leader
I wanted to be part of a travel community, which now we call travel family. There is no better way to make and keep these connections than traveling with the nicest people and showing them the world.

3) What was your favorite Legit Trip
Peru all the way! The group was incredible, the adventure was just the perfect amount between not too easy and challenging enough, and the views are out of this world! We had a great time together and became friends for life!

4) What’s your food and from where?
Hard one! Italian makes the top list honoring my roots, but love me a good Middle East cousine with hummus, falafel, pitta and veggies 🤤
