September 1st is right around the corner... literally! Sunday is 2024 OPENING DAY of Dove Season across Texas!!! ๐ฆ๐
Although Central & North Zones are open fully for regular season, here in South Texas/South Zone remember that is is ONLY Special White-Winged days - which are only September 1-2nd & 6-8th from noon-sunset with regular season for both White-Wing & Mourning Doves opening on September 13th!

Let's talk about preparing for a hunt - whether you take your own firearm OR plan to use your outfitters. Knowing & understanding gun safety along with what to expect when hunting on a walk & stalk situation is EXTREMELY important โผ๏ธ
Successful shot placement & harvesting your intended animal are two things that are essential on any hunt. Ensure you take the time to mount the rifle ahead of time, learn the functions of the scope, the safety, & put a couple shots through it so you are comfortable & confident before taking it into the field!
