An independent chapter of the Dallas Safari Club, we host social and educational events to raise funds to support wildlife conservation, anti-poaching, conservation research, and hunter education.

Fun Fact: The total Blackbuck population, estimated to be at 80,000 in 1947, was down to only 8,000 by 1964, but it has since recovered to over 25,000 in protected areas due to conservation. Native to India & Pakistan, Blackbuck originally were released in Texas in the Kerr County area in 1932. More than 80% of the population of Black Buck in Texas now reside in the Edwards Plateau region.

A couple weeks ago we hosted our Fall Member Social at Rebecca Creek Distillery! 🥃 We wanted to say THANK YOU to all who joined us - we are already planning the next one and look forward to seeing you all again!!

Also HUGE congratulations to our giveaway & door prize winners of the night!! Mr. Zeev Nederman went home with a brand new SL5 Waterfowl Shotgun just for showing up! 👏

El Chapparal Ranch is consistently growing some of the biggest Mule Deer to ever walk the planet. This one right here exceeds the World Record & will make the record books for being one of the top Mule deer of all time coming in scored at 260+! Congratulations Ricky & Rancho El Chaparral!
