Renee just bought us each a DD coffee at TF Green airport. The ‘eat in’ stickers on our cups identifies us as customers 6567. Yep, we’re on our way to the Bowling Green, KY Tri-Five Chevy convention! Lots of 55, 56 and 57’s!

We just edited a new episode. Custer’s Used Parts in Fulk Run, Virginia. Meet Frank and see some of the salvage yard his grand daddy started. Not too many projects but good pickin.

The 56 convertible is back at my place because Johnny 'Cannonball' Bakker needed his bay to make a few dollars when not driving 'Big Blue' to pick up Interstate highway truck wrecks. I don't have a shop so I've been building a garage with a lift to do 'light' stuff at home. I'll be getting the 56 running this spring between indoor shows and swap meet appearances.

I keep trying to post video of show portions and events to my page but it will not allow me. We're working on the 76 Comet and have yards in Minnesota, Kentucky, and Virginia episodes plus MSRA 'Back to the 50's' cruise coming all winter. Check my personal page 'Dennis Savage', Producer as well for updates and 'subscribe'. Still climbing at 8.4K !

We just spent 5 months on the road with camera in hand. There are many new episodes in 'post' from 5 states covering 10 salvage yards plus MSRA 'Back to the 50's' weekend and Tri-Five Nationals in Bowling Green. AND we just reached 8K subscribers! Enjoy, tell your FB Friends and please 'SUBSCRIBE'!

Frustration. I'm the admin of this FB page and it will not let me load a new video. Probably for the same reasons I am not able to edit my own shows. Just miss or forget one little f'n key or 'click' and your lost..It won't tell you what it is either!

Check out my FB page for the newest photo of the 56' Chevy convertible. The rare 265 power pack with 3 speed overdrive is back home. The 'into the guard rails' wreck with snow tires still on it from about 1980 is now straight with new and used replacement sheet metal and a 'temporary' engine.

Hi everybody. Bring 'Em Back To Life is beginning season 3 this week! We're back where we began at Kleemann's Auto Parts in Preston, CT. picking up some parts for our newest project, a 1976 Mercury Comet that my good friend Dave Waddington gave us from Jordans Pick and Pay. So, our newest episode is for our "Ford Motor Company" friends.

It's Springtime everywhere! Well, almost everywhere. Stockers, hot rods, street rods, gassers and pro-streeted, get them out and ready to play. Watch us as we visit salvage yards around the US and show the available parts or projects waiting for someone to "Bring 'Em Back To Life". Find all 36 episodes at Den-56.com.

How “Bring ‘Em Back To Life” started

My wife and I eloped in my 57’ Chevy in 1968. Then we bought a 55’. Then we bought a 56’. Then we bought another 56’. For 51 years we have continued to buy and drive 1956 Chevys. We raised 3 kids and had several career changes always having at least one 56’ to drive. As a video producer in my last endeavor I realized that many folks including myself loved old iron and walking through salvage yards. So, in 2007 I began putting ideas to video, entering film festivals and requesting copyright protection for this show and my TV name ‘Denny Salvage the Junkyard Chaplain’. After a copyright infringement, Bladder cancer, blood born bacteria infection, tick bite and financial scam, I finally got the first full episode posted on YouTube two years ago. Now over a million ‘views’ with 34 episodes posted and 2,800 subscribers.
