Another string to the bow of our city's ever-growing music scene 🎸

Industry giant Warner Music UK is set to open a new studio in Newcastle to attract major talent to our region, nurture local artists and drive economic growth in the city.

The studio is set to bring significant investment into an icon of the city, which will be Warner’s only UK base outside of London, with details on its exact location in Newcastle yet to be confirmed.

It is a major vote of confidence in Newcastle and the wider city region which will help to support our burgeoning music and creative arts sector and help make our city a major player in the UK music industry.

More great news for music in the region following the announcement we will host the MOBO Awards next year and the launch of Newcastle Gateshead Music City.

So happy to announce our third album ‘People Watching’ is coming out Feb 21st. Me and the band have picked away at these songs for the last couple of years, we recorded so much material in that time and deliberated long and hard over what came next. We settled on this collection for our next outing. Special thanks to Dean and Joe who have been with me every step of the way, they are incredible producers in their own right and I’m eternally proud and grateful for them both. The band has really evolved in this time, I’m a lucky fu**er to be surrounded by such a talented bunch.

Our upstairs spot looks lovely in this winter's glow ☕🍵

In my opinion, it's our nicest room, with its original high beamed ceilings, wooden floors, green booths and views of St Lawrence Park but it's largely left empty besides weekend hires and the occasional Drink & Draw event. We think it's a shame that no one uses our space during the day as it's a perfect peaceful spot to work, read and chill out.

So with that in mind, we'd like to trial a couple things:

1) £5 for unlimited filter coffee + Teas all day from 10:30am - 5pm - Monday to Thursday. (Free WiFi too)


2) £10 per hour hire for exclusive use Monday to Thursday between 9am-6pm.

The room has its own sound system, bar, private toilets and projector. Did I mention the views from the park?

Get in touch if any of this interests you. We'll start the filter coffee offer from Monday 18th November. Until the end of the year.
