Many people crossed this door along this year that is about to end. They entered like strangers and left like friends with a few recipes in their pockets. I want to thank you all for filling our home with good moments and memories. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I am sure many locals never took the time to have a closer look at this familiar spot in Pedregalejo area. Astilleros Nereo is one of the oldest traditional shipyards in Spain and also an active museum that you shouldn't misss before choosing a restaurant to enjoy some fried fish with sea views.
Beautiful February. Glorious almond blossom is giving way to tiny nuts to be picked at the end of the summer. Our meatballs in almond sauce are the best you will ever try! These balls photographed by the sharp eye of Jodi Hinds look soooo good! Thank you Manni Coe
In December the Old Town of Malaga takes on a whole new charm, as the festive lights are illuminated over the delightful historic quarter with it's vibrant Tapas scene. This fabulous evening tour…
TOMA & COE are offering the chance to win a Day Trip to Archidona and Antequera including a fabulous lunch at Arte de Cozina for 4 people.
To enter simply add your ‘Christmas in Andalucia’ photo to this thread (on our page). The photo with the most 'likes' will win!
Andalucia is special at any time of year but at Christmas there is a unique magic in the air. Roasted chestnut sellers holler their trade and the towns and villages are filled with lights, trees, nativity scenes and Christmas carols (Villancicos) spill through the streets and alleyways. We are looking for a photo that captures this essence of Christmas and the enjoyment it brings.
The competition will run for 7 days from the 26th of December to the 1st of January, share this competition with your friends to get more 'likes' and most of all have fun. The cut off time for entries and likes is 6pm, make sure you get yours in by then!
Rules are:
1. Visit our page https://www.facebook.com/TOMAandCOE/ and add your photo to the competition thread.
2. Use only your own photographs, no copyright theft!
3. The theme is Christmas in Andalucia
4. One entry per person
5. The most popular photo wins the tour when combining total number of likes, comments and shares ON THE PHOTO itself
6. Winner will be chosen January 1st, the competition ends at 6pm. Winner will be announced on January 2nd.
7. Judges decision is final!
8. Tour to be taken within 3 months of the draw. Off you go and good luck!
To comment or like a particular photo, the easiest way is to click the photo itself so it opens in a pop-up box, then leave your comments there, that way they will remain attached to the right entry. You can share the competition post in as many places as you like and ask your friends to visit the page to boost your photo's likes.

Summer is almost gone but still...
Feria de Málaga, get dressed and enjoy the experience!
I love Reuben's Guide to Tapas in Archidona!! Well worth visiting this town and the neighbouring Antequera for a real taste of Andalucía. Don't forget Reuben's Guide!
Salmorejo is a cold tomato soup like gazpacho, in Archidona it’s sometimes called P***a. Me and Diana both loved this one, gold star for the day.
Some days it feels there is no better place than this. Come with us and discover. www.acookingday.com
EAT BETTER, FEED BETTER
Still thinking that buying organic is just a fashion? Supporting biodiversity could be a good reason to start with. This cute little snail wouldn't have reached my kitchen hidden in a conventional lettucce.
