Red Palette Pictures is a New York based independent film production company founded in 2005 by Yelena Demikovsky, producing documentaries and short narratives about dynamic, inspirational people which enthuse and educate audiences. We are now in post production of our film "Black Russians: The Red Experience" about black Americans moving to Russia during Stalin times and escaping racism in America. Little Angel Theatre

Our documentary, 'The Story of Fenist' will be shown at the Little Angel Theatre in Islington today for the Puppet on films festival. If you are in London, come along! Click the link for location and more information.

Parking is notoriously difficult in Islington and we strongly suggest to all our visitors that the easiest way to get here is by public transport. However on Saturdays after 1.30pm, and Sundays all day, you can park on a single yellow line.

This documentary tells the story of the great Russian puppeteer Igor Fokin who entranced children and adults alike with his memorable performances in Harvard Square – where a stature stands of one of his puppets - from 1994 until his untimely death in 1996.
