Red Palette Pictures is a New York based independent film production company founded in 2005 by Yelena Demikovsky, producing documentaries and short narratives about dynamic, inspirational people which enthuse and educate audiences. We are now in post production of our film "Black Russians: The Red Experience" about black Americans moving to Russia during Stalin times and escaping racism in America. We had to stop editing due to the lack of funds. It's a very timely subject and the film must be completed ! We accept donations. Please, help to continue editing this film!! We’re now in fundraising process for completion of our documentary "Black Russians: The Red Experience." The film has been shot in Russia and America and now is moving towards post-production.

Little Angel Theatre

Our documentary, 'The Story of Fenist' will be shown at the Little Angel Theatre in Islington today for the Puppet on films festival. If you are in London, come along! Click the link for location and more information.

Parking is notoriously difficult in Islington and we strongly suggest to all our visitors that the easiest way to get here is by public transport. However on Saturdays after 1.30pm, and Sundays all day, you can park on a single yellow line.

Red Palette Pictures are pleased to announce that our documentary 'The Story of Fenist' has been selected to be screened at the 'Puppets on Film' festival in London at the Little Angel Theatre in April 2013.

This documentary tells the story of the great Russian puppeteer Igor Fokin who entranced children and adults alike with his memorable performances in Harvard Square – where a stature stands of one of his puppets - from 1994 until his untimely death in 1996.
