We’ve been in the grit of it these last couple of weeks. I mean really, who were we to think we could renovate a store both inside and out in ten days! HA! ⁣⁣⁣

I’m covered in paint, and bruises and I’ve never been so tired in my life, nor have I had such random things wake me up in the night like where a certain rack should go. I went from travelling the world with to travelling madly between the store, our home, Home Depot, Home Hardware and my office, barley remembering to eat. But it’s all gonna be worth it! ⁣⁣⁣

We’ve got the inside “mostly” done, and if you read our post about done being better than perfect, well then, you’ll know what we mean, and we’re pretty happy with it all! It’s looking so beautiful! We can’t wait to welcome you! ⁣⁣⁣

Hey guys! I hope everyone is doing ok. As ok as we can be in these unusual times. It's not easy, for anyone, and it's impacted everyone in so many different ways. My hope, when we come out of this is that on the other side we are more connected than ever.

It's with a heavy heart that I have come to the difficult decision to put Live Life Light Adventures, on pause.

Though so much remains unknown and uncertain, I do know that one of the most important things people need to feel when they travel with me (or anyone, for that matter) is safe. So I think it is more prudent for me to take this pause and use the time to launch a killer lineup of adventures for 2021.

Although this pause is vastly disappointing, rest assured that our journey together does not end here; it’s adapting.

Today, I am more driven, committed, and passionate about doing my part to bring people together, fostering connection and community, bridging gaps, and building bridges than ever before.
With this in mind, I created a new website, full of exciting adventures that await us. When the world is ready, we will be too.

I am feeling a little cooped up. That’s a bit of an understatement actually. ⁣⁣

I’m feeling all kinds of things that vary as often as one moment to the next these days. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Some days I’m content, motivated, productive. Others, like today, I feel defeated, tired, uncertain and stressed about all the unknown. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
This state of being is not a natural state of being for me. To not be able to explore, discover, laugh with my friends. And contrary, to not have time alone. This 24 hour shared space, is also new and unknown territory for me. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
To not even have a plane ticket in my name, let alone know when my next adventure will be.... I’ve always had an adventure planned. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I’m a traveler. I’m an explorer. And I love nothing more than to share that with people. That’s my why. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Travel is my lifeline. It feeds my soul. My creativity. My mind. Discovery, exploring, its the magic of otherness I feel when submerged in a new, and unknown culture. ⁣⁣

I need it, and I need to share it. ⁣⁣

Today, I’m feeling like a caged bird, and all I want to do is fly. Metaphorically and literally. ⁣⁣

Then, serendipitously I received a series of the most beautiful images taken by the most beautiful soul Brandi . She, and her husband attended last years Live Life Light Morocco adventure retreat - what she didn’t know, was how perfect her timing was sending these - I needed to see these today more than ever. Such a beautiful soul, capturing the magical stories of this week together. ⁣⁣
