This is a track system much like your garage door so the screen won’t blow in the wind. And yes you can have these motorized with a wall switch. They are great for privacy as well. Thought this was a great option for the kitchen. Motorized 2” wood blinds. The shades get their power from a solar panel we attached to the glass. No need to replace batteries or have a bunch of chargers laying around
