It has been a while since I've posted here, and we're past due for a photo-dump! We've seen the grand opening of Echo Valley, I pulled a win and a tie for 2nd in Open Masters, and tons of mushrooms popped at Buckcreek. Here come the photos!

A beautiful day for some disc golf at Snyder Park! My card mates, Mooreman and Ozgur Mert made it fun, and I won in Pro Masters! Thanks to Crabtree and Dayton Disc Golf for a good time.

We have an Annheyser Bitch at Buck Creek. Today I picked up my 1,000th Busch light draft can at the disc golf course. If you know their identity, shout it from the mountain! If you ARE him, I hope you realize that many of us have given you s***** nicknames, created Gypsy style curses on you and your descendants, and hope that you hit every tree forever and ever, amen.

More programs and CLOSED times for CFP:

Hey!

Now we have your attention, we just want to let you all know about a few things happening this weekend at Caesar Ford Park-
Starting tomorrow from sunrise to sunset there will be filming taking place which WILL IMPACT THE DISC GOLF COURSE - holes 12,13 and 15 will not be available until after the filming is wrapped on Saturday evening. We do ask that if you see the crews there to be mindful of the noise levels.

Also happening this weekend at CFP is the Extreme Egg hunt on Saturday evening. If you see caution tape, please play around it- DO NOT TAKE IT DOWN. This is for the event only, and will not impact the park or play area until the event Saturday evening.

I had a real "milestone" day in disc golf yesterday! After a year of drought and no aces, I was stuck on #39. Then, at Xenia's Sol Arnovitz course, I hit TWO aces in one round!!
Aces #40 & #41 , 30 minutes apart, on hole #1 and hole #8! First with my pink, TI Buzzzz, second one with my old, trusty blue Buzzzz!

Things are looking great out at BC, except for the usual littering bu****it. There are some regulars who drink Busch light draft (annheuser bitch) and Twisted Tea (twisted turd) who continue to throw their empties into the forest. If you see them, give 'em an etiquette lesson for me!

I pulled some good scores lately, taking some firsts in leagues. I squeaked wins at Urbana and Germantown last week, and pulled out another at Buckcreek last night with a -5. No record scores, but just enough to take a W.! All those courses are looking great right now.

This was a great week for disc. I took second at Xenia's Sol Arnovitz course on Sunday (-5), and got first at Urbana on Tuesday (-6). My putt is still sloppy, but if I can just park it on the drive... 3:)

The Echo Valley course was looking great this weekend! What a great tourney, smooth in spite of hiccups. My partner overslept, and we were lucky enough to get a new tee-time thanks to Carl Chiles. After a long, sweaty round, David Day and I tied for first place!
We each hit some long putts, and in spite of a tremendous buzz, shot a -13!

Bad news concerning this year's Brent Hambrick Memorial Open.

Dear BHMO Competitor,
This is an note we were hoping we did not have to write, but unfortunately we have decided the Flyers will not be able to move forward with the 2020 Brent Hambrick Memorial this year. This will impact both the pro and amateur events that are scheduled for August 1st and 2nd. We have still not been granted the special event permit we need and we are not sure if/when that will happen. The Hambrick course is still not in the ground, we have held off on ordering discs, trophies and many other things that are needed for the event. At this point, we are just out of time and rather than run a mediocre tournament, we are going to hold off until 2021.
Please note that you will be given a full refund shortly and we are extremely sad it has come to this. If you wish to donate any portion of your entry to the Leukemia Society, please reply to this email with the amount. We still plan to make a donation to the charity in Brent’s name even though the event will not be taking place. Keep an eye out for a GoFundMe as well in Brent's name if that is easier for you.

We have to thank all of the sponsors that were still willing to contribute during this tough year. Special thanks to Discraft, Dairy Queen, and Prodigy for their generous sponsorship offers this year.

Well, the Matchplay Challonge ended being a real battle at Kettering. Kyle and I both expected more holes to push/tie. Instead, the lead played back and forth to a 7-7 tie after 18, and our play-off stretched it to 21 holes before he knocked me out. Kyle wins, 8-7 on 21 holes, though my 18-hole score was better at 49 to his 52. Good luck next round, man!
