Does it bring a little frustration? or is it a better situation to be in?

Information for St Helena I T/end users of Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems.

This info is shared especially for those who have Microsoft automatic updates enabled on their home or business computers running on Windows 10.

Microsoft has rolled out another major feature update 2004 this update (one of the biggest for windows 10) is applicable to certain versions of windows 10, some of you will notice that you are already receiving request to install this update this week.

For users with capped internet data you will require a considerable amount of surplus data to download these updates.
The not so good news is a high percentage of users are reporting problems with this major feature update once downloaded and installed, whereas some hardware is showing a massive reduction in performance and in some cases computers are rebooting consistently.

Users are reporting the following after the update.

• Folders disappearing.
• Zip files and folder not opening quickly.
• Printers dropping.
• Network failing.

Some users are reporting complete rebuilds of systems, to overcome the issue, as the role back trouble shooting process not configured within.

This feature update is a rather large update that includes the update for the new Chromium browser roll out that replaces the dreaded edge browser and discontinued Internet Explorer 11.

A recommendation is not to install this 2004 (2oH1) feature immediately; as it will be a waste, your data as it introduces a high risk and a possible impact.

Note this feature is around 4.8 GB in size

I hope this information is helpful, please consider sharing especially to users with limited internet and anyone with limited support for computer problems.
