If you’re anything like me, the first day of a cruise is probably your favourite. It comes with all the excitement of being on vacation, checking everything out, exploring your cabin, discovering cool things to do, sorting your specialty dining options… Getting ready to relax and enjoy.

About A&A World

Welcome to the inspired and fun-loving world of Addinsall and Addinsall, previously Anderson and Addinsall (we just got married in March 2019)! We travel mostly on cruise ships as much as we possibly can and we throw in some land travel – just because we can – in between. I’d love to tell you the number of countries we have visited, but we lost count a long time ago!

The object of this page (and our website) is to give you insider information mostly focused on cruising, with Beven being a Cruise Director for Viking Ocean Cruises (previously a Guest Entertainer for 13 different cruise lines) and Wendy has worked in the cruise industry for over 10 years for Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises, training travel agents and managing the Meetings and Events department. We are on ships for about 8 months each year, so we definitely have all the info you could possibly want to know about cruising - and as is the beauty of cruise, we visit tons of ports which we will also give you top tips on.
