To all my customers and followers of this page. I have made the decision to now stop trading due to several knee injuries over the years and now having a further 2 knee operations and medical advice to get off the tools or change career.
I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your business over the 15 years working for myself.
As soon as I found out I needed more surgery last October, plans for a new venture were in motion.

I will be staying in the industry and rather than installing bathrooms I will now be supplying them , mainly targeting plumbers , bathroom fitters, property developers and builders. Keep your eyes 👀 peeled for the new announcement and updates about the exciting new venture .

Also currently off work for the foreseeable after slipping at the weekend and blowing my knee out🤦🏻‍♂️ once swelling has gone down and I can walk I will be in touch with upcoming jobs and customers to give new dates too. I imagine it will put me back a few weeks .

Afew before and afters of a current project we are undertaking. Still the second fix to do. Nice copper bath to install and brassware and fixtures and fittings. These will be installed further down the line when the decorators have been in and other works been done around this part of the site .
For now we’ll just showcase our work and the beautiful tiles 😍😍

🔧🔧🔧Update 🔧 🔧🔧
Following our post last week.
The cylinders have now been installed in The house. These will have the capacity to feed 7 bathrooms.
The cylinders installed are 250litre indirect stainless steel unvented mains pressure. They have been linked together to create 500 litres of hot water and have been piped in parallel which means the hot water will be taken from both cylinders at the same time to keep up with demand with a secondary hot water return.

All filled up and ready to go once the safety pipes have been finished.

Electrician in next week to wire them up.
I’m sure he’ll have as much fun as us 😜

Gas main and safety valves and condensate to do still on the boilers.(temporary cold feed to fill system)
Two 250litre horizontal cylinders to go in next week. 🔧 the system in this house will serve up and downstairs underfloor heating and also 6 bathrooms.. keep your eyes open for updates next week.

This is why it is so important have Carbon monoxide alarms 🚨 (CO ALARMS)

We got called to this rented property today after the tennant reported the CO ALARM going off.

This boiler WAS NOT installed by us. However has been in the property approximately 3 years .
This boiler has never been commissioned by the original installer and the gas/air ratio mixture was incorrect giving off high levels of carbon monoxide.

we commissioned the boiler to the manufacturers correct settings and did a working pressure and gas rate and other basic necessary checks to make the appliance safe.

I cannot stress enough how important CO ALARMS are also regular servicing on all gas appliances and especially ANNUAL LANDLORD GAS SAFTEY CERTIFICATES !!

The cheapest quote is not always the best guys.
Ensure if you have a boiler installed it is registered with building regulations, gas safe, manufacturers and the benchmark book has been completed.

Heating upgrade completed.
Old boiler and cylinder out.
All old radiators out.
New boiler in with 7year manufacturers warranty.
New room sized radiators to all rooms.
Re piped, system flushed out, boiler commissioned and registered with manufacturers for warranty, building regulations and gas safe.
All ready for clients new carpets to go down now and we’ll be back in the summer to do the bathroom refurbishment 👍🏻

Finally finished our own bathroom yesterday. Well 95 percent complete anyway, just the bespoke mirror and glass to install in new year once made.

Fantastic effort by Richard Woodhead of woodhead builders doing the pointing and wall plastering by the stone. Truly a great guy and tradesman.

3 new windows and basin cabinet made by Richard Greenwood of Greenwood and sons, awesome guy and very skilled at his work.

Ceiling plastering by Dominic Burke who never lets me down .

My very good friend Doug who gave me a helping hand to get me over the finish line! He taught me everything I know to give me the skill and knowledge to produce bathrooms like these.

My mum and dad Anthony Lodge helping throughout this project tidying up , painting etc nothing is ever a problem and they’re always there for us.

The one and only Anthony Morrison a legend , superb electrician who is always there when I need him.
Elliott Lister for helping me rip out the bathroom and giving me a hand throughout.

Craig Garnett top friend always there to give a helping hand yesterday to finish the last bits of arky
And other things .

And lastly my amazing wife Keli Lodge who is a true grafter who gets stuck in to everything , prepared the stone wall, painting, sealing the wall to putting the underfloor heating down with me, striping the bathroom out with me. ❤️

**Attention landlords**
Had a few phone calls regarding keeping up with annual landlord gas Safety certificates.

I have just received an updated email off Gas safe this morning.

Have a read and the information you need is there and you will be able to explain to the tenants if they question the works.
Certificates need to be in place for legal purposes .
Please take the right steps.

If your property is due for an annual check please get in touch .

**boiler replacement **

We’re not just bathroom specialists...

Boiler upgrade . Previous boiler massively under gassed with 15mm pipe all the way from the meter which makes the boiler perform poorly and dangerous.

Supplied a new boiler with a 10 year warranty and new 28mm gas pipe feeding the boiler and other gas appliances reducing the pipe size accordingly to suit the outputs!

House is now warmer than ever . 🔥 🔧

Glad we managed to get this boiler replacement in yesterday for a customer who was without heating and hot water for over a week after been let down by another plumber.
