Kionslieu Farm Cottages

Due to Covid19, the Isle of Man border is closed to visitors until at least 14th May 2020. Kionslieu Farm Cottages are therefore closed as holiday accommodation but can take bookings from people requiring temporary accommodation to self-isolate or distance from higher risk family members.

When Government rules are relaxed we hope to be able to welcome guests again & expect that this will initially be for staycations.

If you were due to stay with us in the next couple of months we hope to rearrange your break for a later date. For bookings later in the year we are hoping that the situation will improve but are not requesting any further payment at this time.

Fiona Anderson from Knockaloe Beg Farm & Fiona Barker from Kionslieu Farm Cottages are linking with other working farmers who provide tourist accommodation on the Isle of Man, supporting each other at this difficult time.

Due to Covid19, the Isle of Man border is closed to visitors until at least 14th May 2020. Our properties are therefore closed as holiday accommodation but some can take bookings from people requiring temporary accommodation to self-isolate or distance from higher risk family members.

When Government rules are relaxed we hope to be able to welcome guests again & expect that this will initially be for staycations.

We look forward to a time, in the not too distant future when we can invite guests from near and far to share fabulous farm experiences offered at our farms and small holdings. At that time we will again link with Isle Of Man Event Services Ltd to arrange travel inclusive and experience breaks!

Although things feel a little strange and unusual right now and holidays, mini breaks and weekend plans are on hold for the time being, that doesn’t stop us from day dreaming. 💭✨

The Isle of Man’s rich culture, spectacular scenery, fascinating history and exciting Island adventures will still be here and ready to welcome you when this is all over.

We’ll be sharing some inspiring content to give us all a healthy dose of Manx scenery in the coming weeks and months, bringing our special Island to you in the comfort of your own home.

High Tilt Goat Farm is open today from 11am. 150+ goats: Anglo Nubians, Angoras, and Boer goats. From little kids up to the big billy. Suitable for all ages, easy access and disabled parking. Come and have a s***t and enjoy trying the goats cheese all made on the farm from our own milk.

Made the cutest friend today. Snuggles with Tom, made my day 🥰

Shona Boat Trips From Port Erin

Afternoon all.
We had a pod of 6 Risso dolphins join us this morning on the west side of the Sound.
They gave all on board a bit of a show and came alongside the boat to check us out 🐬🐬

On Sunday 8th July 2018, the Isle of Man will be host to the eighth edition of the Island's premier sportive, the Isle of Man Lighthouses Challenge’ powered by Microgaming! 🇮🇲️

This fantastic challenge will take you around the island's lighthouses and beautiful coasts. You can choose from 3 routes - the hardest covering over 100 miles and classed as "hard" under the British Cycling grading system. This hardest route can be completed as a team of up to 7 riders.

Entries close at midnight 2 July and is organised by SAS Events.

Guests staying at 5 Star Ballanorman Croft Cottage can always help with feeding the goats, bottle feeding kids, collecting eggs and other farm 'chores'. Besides the eggs and goat meat there's always a wonderful selection of home grown produce from the kitchen garden available for holiday guests.
