Organic isn't better for you. Eating organic food won't stop imaginary 'toxins' from bypassing your liver and making you sick. Buying organic can potentially cause greater harm to the environment. Eating local is no guarantee of reducing your carbon footprint.

Bacon Chocolate Cookies for Valentine’s Day!?

Google released this year’s Valentine’s Day search trends. Here are some of their interesting findings.

Plain old “chocolate” was the most searched food term, but “healthy chocolate” and “gluten free chocolate” showed a huge increase compared to previous years. “Milk chocolate” was more popular than “dark chocolate”.

“Heart shaped cake” also rose in popularity this year!

Less conventional popular gift searches included “bacon chocolate cookies” and “Valentine beer”!

“Treats for dogs/cats” was also popular! Who says your pet can’t enjoy Valentine’s Day too!
