💛🐾 It’s Dogs in Yellow Day on 20th March! 🐶✨ Today, we wear yellow to remind everyone to give anxious or nervous dogs the space they need. If you see a dog in yellow, they may be asking for a little extra room to feel comfortable. Let’s support these furry friends and create a calm, welcoming environment. 🌟 All yellow dogs are welcome at our Nose to Trail sessions – a safe space for pups to enjoy some peace and quiet. 💛🐕

Does your dog like strangers?

Great advice here

Need help building your dog's confidence around strangers? You can do this by building a positive association with meeting new people. Try this:

🐾 Head out for a walk with treats at the ready.

🐶 When your dog notices a person, calmly acknowledge it with a marker word such as ‘yes’ or ‘good,' and reward with a treat.

❌ Don't tighten the lead – this can increase their anxiety.

🦮 Keep encouraging them while moving your dog away from the stranger.

Poor Star was looking very sad when Mell went to see him last week. This poor boy has such a sweet soul but has been at Pawprints for ages.
He would prefer a home with only a female owner. Can social media do it's thing and help him find a home? Let's get this boy happy again!

Sometimes a picture speaks for itself, and this just sums up exactly what Honey is so desperately looking for. Unfortunately we’re unable to fit a larger furniture in her kennel, but we have tried to make her kennel as homely as possible for her😞

Poor honey is struggling so much with kennel life, to the point where she’s now trying to jump out of her kennel💔

Honey is such a loving girl, who like all of our dogs, does not deserve to be in kennels.

Honey often spends lunch time in the office with the kennels staff, where all she does is lounge on the sofa having cuddles.

We are in real desperate need of finding honey a foster home, or a home for adoption.

It’s breaking our hearts seeing her so stressed out, especially when we have to leave for the evening😞

Honey is 5 years old and has spent most of her life in a home environment. She has so much love to give.

Please please, please can someone give her a chance she so desperately deserves ❤️
