This is so true. I've spent at least 40 hours on the phone with travel companies these past few weeks. I've spent countless hours listening to obnoxious hold music while rescheduling flights, cruises, and hotels for my clients. I've memorized all the various airline cancellation policies to the point that I know them better than their own employees. I'm dealing with all this hassle so my clients don't have to. And that's why you should use a travel agent.

While airlines and online travel agencies are telling customers don’t call us, we can’t handle the volume of calls, and in some cases disconnecting callers after hours on hold, consumers who use traditional travel agents are not only getting advice.
