This event is being postponed. A new date will be announced in the future.

After 42 years of public service, Chris Calkins has finally chosen to hang up his hat. We're going to get together on the 155th anniversary of the Battle at Sailor's Creek to say thanks for all he's done for the park and the community at large. Be there Monday, April 6 to show your support and hear from local historians how the "Father of Civil War Trails" pioneered the way we interpret Virginia's history.

Join us in recognizing the contributions and career of "The Father of Civil War Trails," Chris Calkins, Monday, April 6.
