Hovos provides people with a way to travel differently — to take money out of the equation or to have an experience they've only dreamt of. We do this with the help of two kinds of hosts. (We are always looking for new hosts that fit into either category.) The first are hosts who need help with a project or around the home. There are travellers out there with all kinds of different skills, some of
them might be painters, or electricians, gardeners or teachers - depending on your project, all you need to do is be willing to offer up room and board (which generally costs way less than hiring a professional) in exchange for their help. On Hovos.com, both travellers and hosts create profiles which in turn makes it easier to find the traveller with the skills that are right for you. You can get help with all your projects, and at the same time, you're giving someone the opportunity to explore your amazing country! The second type of hosts are 'experience hosts'. They also offer accommodation and sometimes food, but they include an experience. In exchange, they charge a daily rate for their service.
