Eastern State Penitentiary: Once a notorious prison, its isolation led to dark practices; ghostly apparitions and eerie sounds echo through its crumbling halls.

Emily’s Bridge: Legend has it that Emily, a heartbroken bride, died here. Visitors report seeing her ghostly figure and feeling an icy presence.

Gettysburg Battlefield: Site of a pivotal Civil War battle, many believe the spirits of fallen soldiers roam the fields, with ghostly sightings reported during quiet nights.

Have you gotten your REAL ID yet? Starting May 7th, 2025, North Carolina will be requiring all air travelers to have a REAL ID or another federally approved identification.

How to acquire a REAL ID in NC:

Bring the Required Documents: Make sure to have the following documents ready when you visit:
- Proof of Identity: This could be a U.S. birth certificate, U.S. Passport, or another document that proves your lawful presence in the U.S.
- Proof of Social Security Number: Such as your Social Security card, W-2 form, or pay stub with your name and full SSN.
- Proof of North Carolina Residency: You'll need two documents from different sources showing your address, like a utility bill, vehicle registration card, or bank statement.
- Proof of Name Change (if applicable): Documents like a marriage certificate, divorce decree, or court order if your current legal name is different from what's on your proof of identity.

Schedule an Appointment: Though it's not required, it's a good idea to schedule an appointment at the DMV to potentially save time.

Fee: Be prepared to pay a fee for the REAL ID, which may vary depending on its duration.

Receive Your REAL ID: After your application is processed and approved, you'll receive your REAL ID in the mail.
