【多懂一些些】在社媒平台上，我们经常可以扫到一些视频，带大家体验世界各地的地铁站有多深。有些据说乘扶梯去到站台，就需要10分钟那么久。

新加坡的跨岛地铁线第二阶段工程刚在上个月宣布。最具挑战的环节，就是有一段隧道必须横跨中央集水地带自然保护区的底部。届时，这段地铁隧道就会挖掘至地底70米的深度。

这个深度将是新加坡所有地铁隧道中最深的，却不是亚洲最深的隧道。（详见下图）

新加坡目前最深的地铁站是滨海市区地铁线的明古连站（Bencoolen）和宝门廊（Promenade）站。它俩在地底的43米深度约等于14层政府组屋楼层，必须乘五条长长的扶梯才能下到站台。

然而，这个“最深地铁站”的殊荣也就只剩五年左右。一旦巴西立地铁站与跨岛地铁线在2029年通车成为转换站，巴西立地铁站的深度将达到地底47米，成为新加坡最深的地铁站。

據彭博社5月2日報道，有知情人士透露，美國和沙特阿拉伯即將達成一項歷史性協議。根據該協議，美國將為沙特提供安全保障，甚至允許沙特獲得美國此前禁售的先進武器，並為沙特在以色列結束加沙戰爭的情況下與以色列建立外交關係提供可能的途徑。

協議中，美國還要求沙特限制中國技術進入該國最敏感網絡，作為交換，美國將在沙特人工智能、半導體和量子計算方面進行重大投資，並幫助沙特建立民用核項目。

消息人士稱，最近幾周，美國和沙特間的談判加快了，許多官員認為兩國最快將在幾周內達成協議。彭博社稱，若此項協議達成，可能會重塑中東。除了加強以色列和沙特安全之外，協議還將加強美國在中東地區的地位，並犧牲伊朗甚至中國在該地區的利益。

不過，即便美國和沙特簽署協議，協議最終能否達成，仍充滿不確定性。彭博社稱，沙特將此協議視為結束加沙戰爭、實現“兩國方案”的重要基礎，但以色列總理內塔尼亞胡大概率不會同意該提議。而在以色列選擇不加入的情況下，拜登政府將難以推動這一承諾保護沙特的協議在國會獲批。（綜合報道）
