The Official page of LabCon: The RITM Laboratory Postgraduate Conference on the Diagnosis of Infectious Diseases
The RITM Laboratory Postgraduate Conference on the Diagnosis of Infectious Diseases (LabCon) is a one-of-its-kind event conducted by the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine every other year. It gathers individuals from the health science sector to learn and discuss updates in laboratory diagnosis, and researches on infectious and emerging diseases in the Philippines. LabCon is an avenue for n
etworking among individuals interested or working in the health science field. RITM, being the country’s main responder to infectious diseases, will also share its knowledge, experiences, and scientific outputs in laboratory diagnosis and investigation. This event has been endorsed by the Department of Health, and has also been accredited by professional organizations, such as the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists (PAMET), as a provider of continuing education units.
