Phuket deserves greater exploration than it usually gets, hidden gems such as Cape Panwa can really surpass expectations.

We took advantage of some local knowledge and headed to the Cape Panwa Hotel for both the food and stunning views.

We were not disappointed by either as you can see it is an awesome venue where we had this picture taken was the venue for a wedding the previous day and it would be hard to acquire a better the venue the views are stunning.

We had lunch the food was great and the wine menu was extensive and international so definitely worth a visit for lunch.

If you are considering actually staying at Cape Panwa I would recommend the pool villas at the Amatara Health and Wellness Resort as they are stunning and the spa there is to die for in my opinion.

Be warned that once you are at Cape Panwa it is quite a drive back to any of the other beaches but then I would guess that once settled, why would you want to venture elsewhere when you are already in paradise.

Attended a great friends wedding down in Phuket and we were recommended by the groom to to stay at the Serenity Resort just down from Rawai Beach.

Well what a delight we booked the Grand Sea View Villa which had outstanding views. The beach is very tidal but it adds to the charm and the Vista.

The buffet breakfast was one of the best that I have had in Thailand with really healthy options including a great juicer.

The resort gets a bit quiet of an evening but that did not worry me too much the night life in Rawai is a bit rare unless you like eating seafood which we do.

We went for lunch to Cape Panwa which was divine and worth the drive for the views alone.

So its a big recommendation form me for a relaxing get away from it all. I recommend checking the prices online and then speaking to the hotel directly as they were willing to negotiate and we received a great upgrade.

I have to confess up front that I have been completely won over to The Pullman G Hotel brand. Particularly after a dining experience at the Scarlett Roof Top Bar in Silom. The food and ambience was amazing but it is the skyline view that steals the show.

Definitely a must for special romantic occasion. All reports from Pattaya resort is that they are completely owning that luxury segment so lacking in Pattaya.

What impresses me the most is you know it is Accor's luxury brand as soon as you walk into the foyer, yet they have managed to pull of that eclectic neo feel and deliver service that is fully attentive yet not in your face.

Don't take my word for it, get in and either enjoy, the weekend escape in Pattaya or the in city dining experience at Silom that will make your occasion so memorable.

If you are looking for a slice of France right in the middle of Sukhumvit then you must treat your self to Bacchus French Bistro. The food is authentic but very reasonable with regular specials to tempt the most selective palate.

The wine list is extensive, international but very reasonable so that you can afford that second bottle.

Be warned that in the evenings it is wise to book because the popularity is on the increase with the sophisticated crowd that works and lives in Soi 16.

A little bit more mainstream in Hua His is Surf and Sand a brand new boutique hotel close to everything including the beach. The rooms are spacious if you can make sure you book one of the suites they are well decorated and appointed and the beds are super comfortable. It has a great little restaurant attached with a wood fired BBQ the chicken wings are some of the best I have ever tasted in Thailand.

The pool is great and equipped with its own blow up Unicorn. Sam the owner and his wife are local legends. If you enjoy golf then Sam is your man for advice on great deals and where to play.

Living in Bangkok everyone loves a short break. Despite popular perception there are some hidden gems in Pattaya. My favourite is the Birds and Bees resort it has a Cabbages and Condoms Restaurant in the resort where many locals go to eat. The food is seriously that good and reasonable. It has its own private beach and great pool. The gardens are a delight and the free range rabbits add to the charm. I recently was the highest bidder for an auction of a villa in Seminyak with the Goodwillgetaways.com team . I did not have to high expectations but was really pleasantly surprised we were given dates for the Bali Pool Villa #2 it was spacious well appointed and a great pool the boys loved it.

We were close to the W Hotel where we had a great lunch and everyday we had a gourmet chef come on an prepare a great breakfast which was delightful.

We were also provided complimentary entry to Finn's Recreation centre which was great value the boys loved the water park and I made great use of the gym and cafe.

All and all it was great value so close to the beach and the restaurant strip which was such great value it is a big up from me thank you guys we will be back.

On my recent trip to Hong Kong I was delighted to be invited to dinner with my colleague and her husband to delightful restaurant strip. The restaurant we went to was Suppa had a delightful retro fit out all tables were round so that it created the family dining experience all treasured by Hong Kong's trendy hard workers.

The cuisine was a diverse mix of traditional tidbits cooked in hotpot style. Whilst cow intestine and tongue, and sea snails are not my normal go to choices it was actually delicious particularly when combined with fresh vegetables in season.

We got there a little early by Hong Kong Standards but by 10.00 pm the place was jumping so clearly resonating with locals and tourists lucky enough to discover the delights tucked away in the alley.

Even the graffiti was cool as you can see in the pic.

What a lovely stay we have had a Bali Pool Villa # 2 under the goodwillgetaways.com management. From the time we were picked up to the gourmet breakfast cooked for us every morning it has been sensational. Only 500 metres from the Seminyak beach very close to the sumptuous W Hotel where we had lunch the atmosphere reminds me of Bali Trips from yesteryear.

The strip of little cafes right on the beach have great food at very reasonable prices and the service is commendable. Not had a bad meal yet and they cater for the children well.

Complimentary passes to Finn's water park has kept the kids happy while Mum and Dad were happy to relax with a glass of wine. Simply divine it is a strong recommendation from the industryaccomm.com team!
