I have extreme eye pressure in my eyes from the artery dissections in my brain and the high dose of steroids I'm on. We all know witch severe chronic steroid use there are long-term consequences. I was put on pulse steroids of 1000mg for a week then 100mg to settle down the vasculitis they assumed. SO I was on 100mg until I left the hospital and rehab which was over 2 months. Its been 4 months since the last stroke and dissection, Ive been able to wean down to 60mg which is still extremely high. Praying for my eyes because I have started to go blind in my right eye. I went in today again because they are so blurry. I have trouble typing and reading. Ive had to get the kiddos or Jason to help. It's very frustrating not being able to do everything I was even limited to prior to the strokes. So I looked into eye health, What do you do to protect your eyes?
Do you use the blue light filter?
Any diet that you have found works best?
Do you take any supplements that help?
Which dry eye treatments have you found to help?
These sound good!!
You've heard the hype about carrots and beta carotene, but plenty of other supermarket staples have been shown to offer eye health benefits. Read on.
