It’s a wrap! Both of Gabriel Lugo’s Wildside Cuba Birding & Culture trips were awesome! Great participants, lovely local people every day, and our fantastic driver and local guides made our trips amazing! Even a hurricane couldn’t stop us!

Obviously the stars of the show are the endemic birds and the resilient people of Cuba. Every day we interact with people that no matter the circumstances smile and work hard for what they need. Staying at their properties gave them a boost for the start of the “high” tourism season ahead. Thank you Cuba!

OLD FAITHFUL STAR TRAILS

THIS is why I shoot OM System! There is NO blending, no composites, no stacking, just a single RAW file using the Live Composite Feature of the OM-1 Mark II! I have been visualizing this image for sometime and two nights ago my OM clients on the Wildside Nature Tours OM System Only Grand Teton & Yellowstone Workshop got to experience an amazing time! A near full moon, star trails and Old Faithful with a nice eruption! I used Sky Safari Pro and Photo Pills apps to plan this along with strong fieldcraft!

This is why a photographer bragging about having a few more megapixels on a sensor means nothing to me! ;) I don't need or want them!

This American Flamingos gave a great show to us and our group had amazing photos even one juvenile walked between us , it was incredible 🤩 and then we had a panga ride to see the Floreana mockingbird
