Swallow-tailed Kite at Cape May Point!
Cape May migration magic is ramping up with not one, but two Swallow-tailed Kites visiting the point this afternoon! Alex Lamoreaux is now living in Cape May, and he was able to catch one of the kites as it rested and preened in a snaggy tree near the Cape May Point Lighthouse! Sightings of this unique tropical raptor are now becoming somewhat regular in Cape May, but it is very rare to see one perched. Alex shares the excitement in this short iPhone/Zeiss digiscoped video! #zeissnature
