Trend Marketing is dedicated to providing Canadians with some of the best fashion footwear.

Established in 1996, Trend Marketing is a private company dedicated to providing superior product quality and customer service. The company was created by an alliance between Larry Gladstone and Jim McGuigan with the vision of becoming the largest distributor of fashion footwear in Canada. Larry and Jim had been friends and business partners since the early eighties and with the strength of their

experience and brand portfolio Trend Marketing was born. In 1998, Shai Burstein was introduced to the partnership in order to improve the distribution and logistical aspects of the business. This MBA graduate from the University of Western Ontario allowed Trend Marketing to bring the existing business to the next level. The following year marked a pivotal moment in the life of Trend Marketing, the opening of the sales office and showroom located in Mississauga. The office and showroom is an old home that has been fully renovated and modernized since its purchase by Trend Marketing in 2000. The office is built on over an acre of land and the building itself is 7,000 sq ft. In 2005 Trend Marketing welcomed the two of the biggest names in the fashion industry BCBG and Jessica Simpson. Coinciding with the addition of these lines we have also moved into a new state-of-the-art 70,000 sq ft warehouse with 8 loading docks in order to increase capacity well beyond current demand. The rational behind this decision was that we wanted this move to be permanent and our facility would be able to handle current demand and any addition business ventures in the coming years.
