Early Monday morning, Hurricane Beryl made landfall in the U.S. through Texas, west of our Galveston Beach and Seaside Resorts. The storm moved throughout the state during the course of the day. Thankfully, all team members and resort guests are safe following the storm.

Our Galveston resorts are dealing with several impacts from the storm, including building damage and power outages. As a result, Galveston Beach and Seaside Resorts will be temporarily closed to arrivals through at least Thursday, July 11. Our team has already reached out to guests with reservations and tours that were impacted by this closure.

Please understand that the closures at Galveston Beach and Seaside Resorts may be extended beyond July 11, as there are many factors that can alter reopening plans. These resorts will not fully reopen until it is safe to do so.

Our remaining Texas resorts – Hill Country Resort at Canyon Lake, Piney Shores Resort at Lake Conroe, and Villages Resort at Lake Palestine – have reported minimal impacts from the storm. Operations are continuing at these resorts.

We will continue to share updates here as available. In the meantime, we appreciate your continued support and understanding!
