It is a comfortable home, backing on to ancient Caledonian pine forest and is ideal for families and groups looking for a relaxing holiday in the amazing Cairngorms National Park. Sandaig has been refurbished for 2015 and provides a new eco central heating system with 2 new bathrooms and new fitted kitchen. We have strived to make the home comfortable, cosy and well equipped however at the same ti

me not too precious so that families with children can relax and enjoy their holiday in the great Cairngorms. With a comfortable and spacious dining living room,with oak flooring and wood burning stove the house is cosy and warm all year round. There are books, dvds and family games provided. The adjoining conservatory allows families and groups to seperate and find a quiet place to chat or read. The new dining kitchen is well equipped for 8 people with a lovely view into the forest from the table. The front garden has a wildlife pond which is great for watching the pond skaters but please keep an eye on small children and always accompany them in this area. The back garden has recently been relawned and provides a secluded sunny area for relaxing or barbequing. The house backs on to enchanting ancient Caledonian pine forest which feels like a great extension of the garden. Fantastic trails run through the forest which are great for both cycling and walking. Young children find the forest a source of great fun for building dens and cycling through. There is varied flora and fauna and it is a great location for birdwatching, spotting red squirrels and deer.

Here we go, our opening days for the next wee while. The 26th of April full opening is still subject to change but, from Good Friday we will be open every day except Tuesday and Wednesday for back door takeaways. Our cafe at Bike Glenlivet will be open 4 days over Easter then each weekend until April 26th for those who live locally. 😊😷

Glen Feshie was stunning and I even caught sight of a willow tit. Great to see Aviemore busy with people enjoying the outdoors. The Old Bridge Inn’s menu is great just now 🤩
