What an exciting week it’s been! Sending so much gratitude to everyone that has supported us through the Calling All Dreamers competition! Hey y’all, Manushi here. I was talking with a friend who had visited Japan recently, and she mentioned that someone had heard about Sacramento because they had seen the Lady Bird movie. Something about that was so touching to me, that we can be connected to a person across the world because someone was inspired enough by the love they had for this city to make this film.

I get to drive around a lot, I see a lot. While we have plenty of work to do, Sacramento is a special place. Starting Capital Tuk-Tuk here has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I say all this to say, I hope you’re inspired today and every day with what we have built and continue to build here as a community. I hope you’re inspired to make art for it, to write music about it, to take care of each other because of it. I hope we can continue to feed into the heart of Sacramento, because we have something so beautiful here 💛
