For anyone who plans to travel through Mexico, I loved the time I spent in the city of Santiago de Querétaro a few months ago. There I found wonderful food, amazing people and a good place to take day trips to the surrounding area. This guest house, owned by my friend and follow world traveler, Jaime Amieva Kobeh, is where I stayed. I highly recommend checking it out for your time there. Jaime is a gracious host and all around great guy. Let me know if I can give you any recommendations for your trip! Cheers!

Anthony Bourdain’s life and lens changed our palates and our perception of the world for the better. We learned about new places and cultures, some of which we were inspired to visit. We saw new foods, many of which we couldn’t wait to taste. We listened to stories that impacted our view of the ...

I couldn't agree with this video more. Having left everything behind to travel the world for a year was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Re-living many of the places in this video brought tears to my eyes as I recounted the things I learned. Our global landscape and career opportunities are changing daily. Working for the same company for 30 years and retiring with a pension are a thing of the past. Location-independent working opportunities, life experiences and global travel are our new reality. They're open to everyone who's willing to put in the time and effort. This is real. This is now. This is my goal. If you're interested, it should be your goal as well. Let's help each other to make it our reality.

Phoenix friends, if you're looking for inexpensive trip ideas, Frontier has some $29-$45 each way fares from Phoenix to places like Portland (PDX), Seattle, San Fran, Denver, Colorado Springs and more. A carry-on is extra but if you can fit everything in a small backpack (personal item), there's no additional baggage fee. I just booked round-trip to PDX for $56 total. I think that's the cheapest domestic RT flight I've ever purchased.

Israel on a Budget: Flights & Tel Aviv (Part 1 of 3) The first thing that struck me about Israel was how diverse of a land it is. For a country the size of New Jersey, there’s a surprising number of places to see and things to do. Though this country is on the more expensive […]

What is Street Food? Four Defining Factors I recently responded to the question, ‘What is street food… is it a cuisine?’ The truth is, street food has evolved a lot in recent decades. It can vary greatly depending on where it’s being served. Southeast Asia tends to prepare their street food dishes…
