Though Dorze is vary rich in cultural features, it is well introduced.
So, we need to work on it. The people is known for their weaving skills, they make the finest handmade clothes in east Africa, although the production is still traditional and nothing has been done to make it more sustainable, and in changing the lives of the Weavers.
Many of the Weavers live and work in the capital Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, and are in general called dorze, even if the term originally refers to one of the ethnic groups in gammo who are Weavers.
Dorze migrate to the large towns in search of other outlets for their products.
In addition the gammo highland area is a popular tourist attraction because of its indigenous people unique living style, culture, holiday celebrations, harvest season all peoples work together, harvest festival, although blessing is common during slaughtering, lighting bonfire and dancing, famous festivals which is celebrated between September 24_27 every year
