Big cheers for Tellan and Jack on their fantastic achievements recently in the dojo! Tellan has successfully earned his 1st Dan Black Belt, and Jack has impressively ascended to his 3rd Dan, both under the vigilant instruction of Sensei Julian Tan.

Special thanks to Sensei's Mo Ilyas and Julian Tan for their rigorous grading and unwavering support. Congratulations, Tellan and Jack! Your hard work and persistence are truly inspiring. Keep pushing the boundaries of excellence in martial arts.

We will be once again holding a Gasshuku at Haven Holiday Park (Cleethorpes) in Lincolnshire.
The dates are Friday 6th – Monday 9th June 2025
There will be training on the Saturday and Sunday and some fun events for all the families.

Open to 5+ years for training.

This month marks a significant milestone as the Shukokai Karate Union (SKU) celebrates its 55th anniversary. Founded in June 1969, SKU has been a beacon of martial arts excellence, teaching the values of discipline, respect, and self-improvement.

From its inception by the visionary Chojiro Tani, Shukokai has been "The Way for All", welcoming students from all walks of life to learn and grow in the martial arts spirit. We honor the tradition that has been passed down through generations and cherish every instructor and student who has been part of this wonderful journey.

The SKU is celebrating its 55th Anniversary next year.
We will be celebrating this anniversary with a Gasshuku at Haven Holiday Park (Cleethorpes) in Lincolnshire.

The dates are Friday 17th – Monday 20th May 2024

There will be training on the Saturday and Sunday and some fun events for all the families plus a night-time celebration.

Open to valid licence members and families.
