SAVE THE DATE! Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe Museum & Visitor Center is hosting its 25th Anniversary Celebration on September 23, 2023 at the Pyramid Lake High School! They promise to offer good entertainment and family fun at their celebration. Pyramid Lake Museum is also calling all dancers, drummers, models and spectators to join in. They are looking for models for the fashion show, so if you are interested please contact the museum for more information at 775-574-1088.

We are excited for the Grand Opening and ribbon cutting for the Stewart Indian School Cultural Center & Museum this Saturday June 18th from 10-11:30 am. Many dignitaries, tribal members, and Stewart alumni will be attending and honored. Following the Grand Opening, refreshments will be served at the Nevada Indian Commission.

The Stewart Father's Day Powwow begins with grand entry at 12. The cultural center will be open during the powwow from 12-6 on Saturday June 18th and 11-5 on Sunday June 19th. Stop into the cultural center and see Loretta Burden, Toi-Ticutta (Fallon Paiute) do a weaving demonstration in the Great Basin Native Artists Gallery.

Visit the Stewart Indian School on Father’s Day weekend to witness (or join in) as the campus comes alive for its biggest annual event, featuring hundreds of dancers, dozens of arts and craft vendors, Indian Tacos, Stewart School alumni recognition, special events, exhibits and more.
