Is it really Machu Picchu if you can't see these majestic creatures? Machu Picchu's resident llamas have been chilling in these breathtaking views for ages. During the Inca Empire's height, South America's largest domesticated animals were llamas; horses, mules, donkeys, and other mammals were nonexistent. Because of this, the Incas utilized llamas as a means of transporting food, guano, and construction materials, which allowed the Inca Empire to flourish. At Machu Picchu, llamas have a useful job: they trim the grass! Their grazing keeps the overgrowth of plants in their landscape setting under control. Also, the Incas held llamas in high regard as sacred gifts from the gods. Frequently, llamas were utilized in religious rites and sacrifices. Tell us in the comments below, Did you know all these interesting facts about Machu Picchu's Llamas?!

Emperor Diocletian constructed the fortress in 300 AD to guard the entrance to an old canal that connected the Red Sea and the Nile and had previously been restored by Trajan.

Did you know that the tallest fountain in the world is located in Saudi Arabia?

King Fahd's Fountain in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, holds the Guinness World Record for the tallest fountain in the world! Located on the west coast of Saudi Arabia, the fountainshoots water almost 1,000 feet in the air. The Fountain was named after King Fahd as he donated it to the city of Jeddah. Inspired by the Geneva Fountain, King Fahd's Fountain was intially constructed in the period between 1980 to 1983 but the planners were not satisfied by its speed, so it was modified and started to operate in its current form in 1985. To avoid Rust and corrosion,
The fountain pumps sea water through multiple filters to remove organic matter, sand, and dirt. During the day, the water plume is a majestic sight. At night, the colorful lights create a truly unforgettable scene.

17/05/2024

The Taj Mahal is not only an impressive mausoleum, but also a symbol of eternal love. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a memorial to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The entire structure is a monumental declaration of love that stands the test of time.

The splendor of the Taj Mahal lies not only in its size but also in the fine details. The entire building is made of white marble, which is artfully decorated with semi-precious stones and delicate incrustations. The precise work of the craftsmen is simply amazing and gives the Taj Mahal an unparalleled beauty.

Another fascinating aspect of the Taj Mahal is how it changes depending on the time of day. At sunrise the building shines with a warm pink glow, while at sunset it shines with a golden light. The marble surface reflects the different colors of the sky, creating a surreally beautiful atmosphere.

An impressive garden extends around the Taj Mahal, underlining the harmony and balance of the overall concept. The symmetrically laid out paths, water reflections and fragrant flowers create a peaceful and romantic environment. It is the ideal place to take a walk and feel the magic of this place.

Have you ever visited the majestic Taj Mahal or would you like to? Share your thoughts with us and leave a comment! We are looking forward to hearing your impressions and experiences!
