Looking through a traditional noren (a traditional curtain over doorways), Hidesaki-san bids us a farewell. She is a maiko on her way to becoming a full-time Geisha. Congratulations!

I took this photo behind some trees so that I got a natural vignette around Hidesaki-san. That’s why you see a very blurred green effect in the photo; it’s the leaves completely out of focus.

Here it is the tenth day and still no Northern Lights. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Like clockwork, the wind and rains moved in. My last full day and tonight is my last chance. And so, the day has started nice once more.
