Our primary focus has always been our clients and having the personal relationship with them to see that their real estate needs are met to the fullest and highest expectations. Bruce Goodman, the Broker and my father, specializes in land. He's worked with Richard Bowers in the past and has experience in retail leases as well. Land however is his love. He likes to find large tracks for commercial
shopping centers or undeveloped land for subdivisions for builders. His niche has been to find tracks for builders, get it planned and zoned and tee it up for them to immediately take over. No plat of land is too small or too large. He's worked with many national commercial agents and retail giants. My background is in acquisitions for land. I hunted and gathered contacts for the commercial or raw land sites that we were targeting. During 2001-2005 we worked hand in hand with a builder and were the in house realtors. Bruce held the licenses of all the builders neighborhood agents and I managed the meetings. I fell in love with residential real estate. I learned about building a house from the ground up, about placements of homes on a site, construction and the many phases of building a home, different styles of homes and the marketing that the houses needed. I've been primarily focused on residential real estate since. I've been on the buying and selling side of many houses in the Atlanta area and have a vast knowledge of many counties as acquisitions I wasn't focused on one area. In working with the builder I was also in charge of making sure that the builders homes were priced comparably for the area of the subdivision and running comparables for individual houses. In 2005 I was hired as a contractor for a national company who purchased Section 8 housing from the government to remodel or tear down and build anew and flew around the country doing marketing analysis for the properties that they were going to acquire. Houses still remain my love and where I have been focused for the past 10 years. My clients become my friends and I pride myself on knowing where each client stands with the phases of their contract without having to pull a file. I, personally, don't like feeling like a number, so I aim to not treat my clients like a number and remember each detail of their transactions so that their questions can be answered when they ask and not later. Buying real estate is the largest amount of money most people spend or sell and I treat each clients deal as if their money were my own.
