Had some unexpected time in Sorrento and was so happy to visit Frankie’s. We ordered their namesake pizza and it was so amazing we nearly licked our plates. Gave ourselves extra points for having the foresight to order a side of homemade pesto for crust dipping. Bout needed a wheelbarrow to get out of here but I don’t regret it for a second!

The sea town of Corfu got its name from the twin peaks of its ancient fortress (coryphe in Greek). It’s an impressive structure for sure. And Prince Phillip was baptized at the church here. While I’m sharing cool info: This is where James Bond pushed Emile Locque off the cliff in For Your Eyes Only.
Corfu is terrific to explore in the shoulder season when there are forever travelers. Lovely wines and olive oils to sample as well!
