Ow my 2024 😅…
It was a year in which it feels I lived 10 years in 1 because so much has been done and changed.

I obtained Costa Rican residency.
Built a house in Costa Rica.
Changed the Belgium company to a Costa Rican one.
Adopted 3 more pets in need (aside from Kira who I adopted the year before).
Became more Tica than Belgian.
Yelled WTF while constructing and dealing with CR administration every day…

But 2024 was also the year I made new local friends,
learned the true meaning of authenticity,
which I can share with you.
Learned about fauna and flora in my own backyard.
Saw monkeys and blue butterflies and colorful toucans every day at breakfast.
But had no time to write newsletters or post selfies in paradise.

Therefore, my goal in 2025 will be to try and share more pictures, stories, newsletters, reviews of happy customers (which you can see and read on Google by the way 😉).

I will be less and less present on holiday fairs in Belgium and the Netherlands as my home is here now, at your destination.
However, my knowledge and expertise grows.
And I’m looking forward to design your perfect, authentic vacation.

Just when the plants were growing well.., 😓. And nobody knows what happened. When I ask who will repair the damage, Kira looks at Biatriz who then starts to eat the small plants… life in the Caribbean as is 😅🤷🏻‍♀️. (Put on sound to understand the faces ).

Kira was found dying of distemper and has chronic skin problems but is doing ok now,
Biatriz was left appearing dead by the side of the road, hit by a car and full of parasites. Now she s the happiest high energy big puppy ever.

Both were rescued by Puerto Viejo Dogs and adopted by yugentours, thanks to our customers and the income needed to take care of them.
There are many more like Biatriz and Kira, pv dogs is always looking for help and donations, however small, as they don t get goverment support, only locals and local companies donating what they can.

Ever showered with a handsome poisenous dart frog?

The Indians used to rub their arrows with the poison of their skin so it would enter the blood. It’s not lethal if you touch it, though you may get a rash 😉
