We have made a bunch of moves in the past month or so that I'm going to sum up. We moved out of the camper. After experiencing cold and snow in the camper we realized it really wouldn't be awesome to keep going through the winter. We weren't prepared (clothing or activities - no skis), and all the things we really want to do are meant for warm weather. [ 193 more words ]

The weather has taken a turn for winter, and it's not making the camper life very enjoyable. The past 4 months have been punctuated with a lot of outside time; a ton of hikes, views, sunshine, bike rides. It's been great! Wandering in different cities and nature meant we were both able to and enjoyed being out of the camper, which meant the 120sq/ft box didn't really feel like a 120sq/ft box. [ 261 more words ]

I have lived in the mountains for 7 years now, and I honestly don't know I've ever been more impressed with them then here in Canada.Mountains cause this true love type butterfly feeling when I'm surrounded by them, and the Canadian Rockies are abundant and impressive and formidable and EVERYWHERE. In honor of Sadie dog being 100% healed, no more scabs just one GNARLY scar, it’s time to tell the story of her worst road trip ever. First some background for those that don’t know her. We’ve trying to vain to escape as we climb Route 1 from the California coast, hoping elevation will set us free. But the thing about wildfires is that they are extremely difficult to track and the billowing smoke can affect a region for hundreds of miles from the source.
